With the exciting launch of our brand new product, the Co Wash (Fresh Hair), it seemed only fitting to hold a brunch for press and bloggers to showcase this amazing and innovative product. BARDOU held this gorgeous brunch in St. Luke’s Kitchen within LIBRARY Members Club, Covent Garden, where guests enjoyed pancakes, (it was Shrove Tuesday after all) and, naturally, glasses of morning Mimosas. Attendees included journalists from publications such as Curly Hair Magazine and Stylist and talented hair/makeup artists from the London Hair and Makeup Academy, as well as freelance beauty bloggers/ journalists and specially invited guests.
This event wasn’t all about brunch and cocktails; the Co-Founder of BARDOU, Charrlotte Davis wanted to share exactly why Co-Wash was so special to her. Charrlotte Davis is particularly passionate about producing a haircare range that caters to all hair types! Not one that simply claims to be effective for all, one hair type she feels is particularly neglected is kinky-curly, it isn’t often that mainstream haircare brands will cater to this hair type, perhaps as it requires that extra bit of TLC; such as a cleanser that cleans the hair without stripping it of natural oils.
Ergo, the Co Wash was born, designed as a gentle cleansing conditioner! Shampoos are often harsh, stripping the hairs natural oils, hence the need for conditioner to replenish moisture. This intense nourished is achieved due to the added Keratin, a superfood for hair and star ingredient in most BARDOU products. Co Wash (Fresh Hair) makes that dreaded hair wash day quick and fuss free, perfect for those with thick, kinky or curly hair.
